Roasted Figs stuffed with Goat’s Cheese and Walnuts are the easiest appetizer you can make! They can even be used as a beautiful addition to any graze board.

Roasted Figs stuffed with Goat’s Cheese and Walnuts Pin

Figs are in season and every year I forget how much I like them. Stuffing them with goat’s cheese and walnuts is by far one of my favorite ways to enjoy them. And the honey on top adds an extra sweetness, which is just perfect. To add even more flavour, make sure to use some wild flower honey.

Not only do these roasted figs look beautiful, but they also leave my kitchen smelling amazing.

This recipe is so simple, it takes less than fifteen minutes to make, and only uses four ingredients. The most important thing when making this recipe is to cut the figs correctly. Cut a cross across the top of the fruit, but make sure the base is still connected.

If you are not a fan of goat’s cheese, you can replace it with Brie, Camembert, or even soft blue cheese. Just make sure to keep an eye on them as they roast, as different cheeses melt at different rates.

I love adding chopped walnuts for an extra crunch. I always have a large bag of walnut halves in my kitchen as I use them so often, particularly when making pesto

This recipe is for six roasted figs, but it is very easily halved or doubled. The measurements are more for guidelines, as you can choose how much cheese and nuts you want in your figs.  Drizzle them with honey just before enjoying them warm.
