Orange chocolate is definitely one of the most popular festive flavors, and this hot chocolate is great for a chilly evening.

Whether it’s brownies, truffles, or hot drinks, this is a combination I cannot get enough of. I love making this hot drink on a cold winter evening, it’s perfect for curling on the sofa with a good book.
This year I have started making hot chocolate using a milk frother rather than the stove. Absolute game-changer. So much less mess and easier to wash up. You don’t even need a fancy one, as long as it stirs and warms at the same time it will work. Most milk frothers also have a non-stick coating, which makes the washing up process so much easier.
This recipe only uses 2 ingredients and it really is as simple as chopping up the chocolate and mixing. I find that using Terry’s Orange Chocolate bar, is easier rather the original orange-shaped ones.
I like to top my hot chocolate with some dairy-free whipped cream a chocolate orange segment and some edible gold glitter spray. All of this is totally optional, but I find that it adds a nice festive touch. You could even be extra fancy and use some gold leaf flecks, or grate the extra chocolate instead. The options are truly endless.
