Refreshing Strawberry Sorbet Recipe

Sorbet is one of the easiest frozen desserts to make, all you need is some fresh or frozen fruits and a sweetener. For this recipe, I like to use sugar, but you can also use honey or agave for a healthier version.

I love using fresh strawberries, I just find them so much juicier and naturally sweeter than the frozen ones. They are also often on sale throughout the summer, as they are in season.

This strawberry sorbet is definitely one of my favourites low-calorie summer treats. This and my lemon and blueberry sorbet are usual favourites throughout any heatwave. When I want something more calorific and rich though, I always opt for ice cream. Last year’s mocha and cookie dough one is still a household favourite.

To make this sorbet I like to use my nutribullet, a few pulses is all it takes to get the consistency I need. The quickness of this recipe is one of the reasons I am such a huge fan of sorbets. There is absolutely no fuss when it comes to making this. It really is as easy as freeze and blend!

If strawberries aren’t your favourite, you can easily substitute them for any other fruits.
