Ingredients
3/4
cup
Water
1/2
tbsp
Raw Honey
1/2
tbsp
Fast Action Yeast
3
cups
Plain Flour
1
tsp
Salt
1/3
cup
Sunflower Seeds
20
g
Salted Butter
Instructions
In a bowl mix the water, honey, salt and year. Stir and let it rest for about 5-10 minutes until you see bubbles forming on the water.
Once the yeast and water mix is ready add in 2 cups of flour, the sunflower seeds and knead
Work the mixture on a floured surface and keep adding flour until you have a dough that sticks more to itself than it does to your hand
Form the dough into a loaf and set it on a sheet of floured baking paper, cover it and let it rest in a warm place for 20 minutes.
After 20 minutes it should have doubled in size, cut some slices on top of the loaf and brush it with the melted butter
Preheat your oven to 200degrees while the bread is rising
Bake it for 15 minutes or until golden and the bread makes a hollow sound when knocked on
Let it cool on a cooling rack before cutting.
